LAKELAND, Tenn. — Little Caesars is preparing to relocate its Lakeland restaurant from its current location at the intersection of U.S. Highway 64 and Canada Road, next to ATC Fitness, to a new location down the Highway 64 corridor.

The proposed move would bring a new drive-up pickup option to the restaurant, according to David Bray, project manager with The Bray-Davis Firm.

The national pizza chain is expected to move into the former dry-cleaning space at 8950 U.S. Highway 64, near LA Fitness and Interstate 40. The property remains within the Lakeland city limits and is currently vacant and available for redevelopment.

Plans call for the existing side entrance that was previously used for dry-cleaning pickup to be converted into a drive-up pickup window. The addition would allow Little Caesars customers to pick up orders without entering the restaurant.

The relocation would place the restaurant farther west along the Highway 64 corridor while maintaining a location with convenient access to the area’s growing commercial activity near I-40.

The proposed move is the latest change along the Highway 64 corridor, where restaurants, retail businesses and redevelopment projects continue to reshape the area serving Lakeland and surrounding communities.

The plans remain subject to the applicable development and permitting process. No timeline for the relocation has been announced.
