Thousands of people gathered at Lakeland Town Square on Saturday, October 24, for the Fourth Annual Lakeland Arts & Crafts Festival, which featured more than 70 vendors, live music, food and family-friendly activities.
Vendors offered a wide variety of products, including artisan sourdough breads, hand-poured candles and handcrafted goods. Attendees also had the opportunity to visit vendors offering services such as on-site knife sharpening. Two stages featured five hours of live entertainment spanning rock, pop, bluegrass, folk, country and jazz, with free admission for all attendees.
Children enjoyed inflatable play areas and a Touch-a-Truck attraction featuring a Shelby County Fire Department truck. Additional activities included a dunk tank, a variety of food options and Lions Lane. The Lakeland Prep Theater Company offered commemorative T-shirts celebrating the festival, which was established by the Lakeland Arts Council in 2023. Lakeland’s 2026 Featured Artist, Ella Rudloff, also displayed her work in a dedicated artist tent.

The festival continued to build on its annual tradition, with attendees praising the expanded layout, diverse vendor offerings and family-oriented activities set against the backdrop of Town Square’s distinctive architecture. Organizers have scheduled the Fifth Annual Lakeland Arts & Crafts Festival for Saturday, October 23, 2027, continuing the event’s tradition of taking place on the fourth Saturday in October.
